touching is a sin sometimes....

um, just about any blood staff, wand/focus set will work as long as it adds energy.

Use a Recurve Bow.
Distracting Shot is the best skill you can put on a toucher's bar.

Meh, I never used it so I wouldn't know. I jsut did a touch ranger with awaken the blood, some speed skills. Interrupt could be nice though.

Hah...

well back when factions was still the newest kid on the block I used a touch ranger to farm greens for a while and I had a full set.

You'll need a caster bow and d-shot on your bar to interrupt their main healing skill.
A 40/40 blood magic wand and focus set for when you start using OoB.
A +15/-1 blood focus, to switch to to spam OoB once you're getting too low on the 40/40 set.
A further +15/-1 blood wand, to switch to yet again when the +15/-1 focus doesnt bump you up enough.

So you have 4 sets...

Bow - 40/40 - 40/15,-1 - 15,-1/15,-1

If you swap creatively you can rock your touch skills for a really really long time. But seriously... use this for PvE and maybe the odd AB. Touchers in PvP... well see horseradish' post at the top.

How about not running touch Ranger? Why?
1. It's gay
2. It's not good at all.
3. You look evil!

Blood Magic Wand + Focus.

Wand:
Halves Skill Recharge of Blood Magic Spells 20%
Energy +5 While Health is Above 50%

Focus:
Halves Skill Recharge of Blood Magic Spells 20%
Blood Magic +1 20%

No point in health mods because of sacrifice and dual 20% recharge is handy for OoB.

would prefer sword/axe over a wand
so you will always be in touch range if you space targets

Wouldnt your equipment be free? Since you create it in your inventory menu on your PvP character. So in terms of gold it'd cost 0g? And um.. i guess if you have NOTHING unlocked.. ~20000 balthazar faction should be more than enough.

Unless you are using a touch ranger for PvE.. and in that case. You totally FAIL.

Wrong. You can do better, but it doesn't fail. It's actually fun. It's aso effective against Cyndrr, the Norn tournament, or for solo-farming bosses. Failing would be using a touch ranger in PvP.

I just use a +20 Soul Reaping staff that dropped for me. Use it for trapping, also. It gets alot more use for trapping.

Why are people still whinning about teh touchers? :P Touchers are actually great in my PvE situations.. And you still get the fun of people screaming "FAGGOT!!!" if they are sucky enough to lose against you in PvP..

Personally I'd prefer to frustrate bad players using a build that can beat good players too.
